How We Work With You and Your Family – The Steps

In-person or phone interview/consultation with you regarding the current status of your child relative to issues and concerns

Define potential directions and general options

Gather and review records, history, transcripts, testing and scores, and contact key professionals who know your child (teachers, therapists, MD’s, etc.)

Referral for additional testing, if necessary, such as achievement testing, psycho-educational, IQ, or other evaluations

Development of specific options – programs, schools, or placements

Inquiries to admissions directors, clinical specialists, or educational professionals of selected programs

Guidance and support in selection of placement and completion of applications

Assistance in arranging transportation or travel if needed

Monitoring and advocacy for up to one year
The educational consulting process may include one or more of the above steps. Or, the situation could necessitate the complete process depending upon your family’s needs, circumstances, and on your goals and expectations.
